aggieamy
:( 61? When I read the headline I thought that she's too young to be dead. I was right.

Lady Florida.
I remember not only her ride into space, but her actions on the Challenger Commission. Her outrage when she found out about critical safety issues that were ignored was the outrage that so many of us here on the Space Coast were feeling. Except she flew on the Challenger. I can't imagine being her and finding out that schedules and money were more important than the lives of her and her colleagues. I have respect for all astronauts, but my respect for her skyrocketed when she was on that commission. She has also done much to encourage girls to go into science fields in general, and space in particular. So sad. She was much too young to die.
