Woohoo! Congratulations to you and your hubby, and your dad! for all your hard work. The house is really beautiful.

I'm curious, (and I ask with my tongue firmly implanted in my cheek), did your buyer wear shoe covers? ;)

Baahwaaahaahaaa!!!! Oh, Suzanne, I truly would have spit my coffee out all over my keyboard if I'd been drinking any when I read your post just now!!!! Even now, I want to bust out laughing. LOUD.

The story behind the shoe covers - I did order them. My REA supported the idea. Dh thought the idea was laughable only because he suspected not one soul would wear them. So, they sit in all their glory in the box they arrived to the house in in a cabinet waiting for me to pull things together enough to put them out and see what happened. Meanwhile, God sold the house. :D

Thank you, Lisa. Another bit of testimony. Yesterday, as I was talking to my mom over the phone about the expected multiple offer situation, she paused at one point in the conversation to say, "Sharon, I really feel I have a word from the Lord for you and it is, "There is to be no angst or anxiety in this for I am in control." At the time, it didn't mean too much to me as I truly was at peace with riding the wave and expecting special things from God. However, *this evening* I had to call her to say I understood for what moment that Word was intended and it was for this evening. I found myself thinking, "Now, what if the roof nor the HVAC pass inspection?" They're both 20 years old but both are working fine. But, what if....? Instantly, I remembered the Word my mom had shared and.....I chose to rest. :)

I share that to say, thank you for the commitment to pray 'til closing day!

I just have to add - this miracle is all the more significant when you factor in that my house was VACANT. Those vacant homes (according to statistics, at least) take longer to sell and sell for less money than if they were furnished, you know! ;-P
