My House Is Going To Be Destroyed!

Recommended Posts

Huge dog, 120 lbs +, Great Pyr x Akbash

Bordeaux puppy, 17 lbs.

Playing 'tag' in my house. Which is a small mobile.

Did I mention it's all lino/laminate? And the Pyr (Cassie) is slipping and sliding? Into walls?

Honestly, it's hilarious. Cassie is letting Bazinga be the aggressor, chew on her, etc, while she dances around. As long as she doesn't take out a wall, or one of the kids, it's all good

Oh. Goody. *headdesk*

That's one reason why our 5 Pyr/Akbashes all live OUTSIDE! :D

When we originally got Cassie, we thought we'd be moving to an acreage that summer. Yeah, that was 3 yrs ago. :glare: Our intention was to have her largely outside.

Now, even when/if we finally do get our acreage, I can't imagine her transitioning to being outside. She's so attached to the kids, I think she'd lose her mind. I'll attempt to encourage her spending more and more time outside, esp during shedding season, but I'm not counting on it.

Sounds like you're all having fun. However, large dogs do need more exercise and a chance to really run(not into walls). Who has the honor of walking them now?

Diva walks Cassie.

Bazinga is too little right now to really go for a walk. I take her for a cpl of laps around the mobile, so that if she gets tuckered out, it's not a big problem to carry her in. Plus, being a short faced dog, I'm a lil hyper aware of the potential for heat stroke.

I *intend* to walk Bazinga. I know w/RSD that there'll be times when I simply cannot manage it, and Diva and Wolf know that, understand that, and have no problem stepping in. :001_smile: I'm hoping that slowly building up her walk time will help me to build some tolerance to being on my feet, so it's a win-win.
