AAS Level 1 cards needed for Level 2?

We are 1/3 through level 2. The very beginning of level 2 was reviewing the big concepts of level 1 with new key cards. I kept the level 1 cards in the box, planning to use them for review, but haven't needed to since the key cards were there.

Oh, wait, you might need the phonogram cards from level 1. Hopefully, Merry will see this and answer you!

You need the phonogram and sound cards from Level 1. At the beginning of the L2 manual there is a list that says what you need to keep from the L1 box. (Each manual will say at the beginning what to save from your previous box). L2 is the only one that has new key cards (they condense and combine some of the cards from L1, while a few are dropped because they probably don't need to be reviewed as the rest of them do). After L2, you will always save the phonogram, sound, and key cards, which are reviewed during the first step and also when a mastered review is scheduled later in the level. For kids who have dyslexia, spelling struggles, or any type of learning disability, you will want to review them even more frequently.

HTH! Merry :-)
