Cindy in NY
A few days before my 6th birthday. I am sure we watched it on our little B&W TV but I really don't remember it. I do remember the picture on the front page of the newspaper.
Dory
My parents were 13 at the time. I can remember my mom talking about it though. It was another 14 years before I joined the world.
Maus
I was three and a half. My parents didn't have a t.v., but the two female students who lived in another unit in their apartment building did. (Dad was in grad school.) I thought the two ladies were old ladies! LOL! I remember fuzzy images, being told it was an important event, and that I could crawl under the t.v. because it was up on legs. I think I fell asleep under there, waiting for the important thing. DH was causing his mother to be on hospital bedrest; she saw the moon walk from there. He was born Aug. 1. He likes to tease me that I'm old enough to remember the moon walk, while he is not.:tongue_smilie:
1bassoon
I watched it live on TV! Only b/c my Dad held my 3-week old self up to the tv set, just so I could say. . . . "I saw the man land on the moon!" Cuz my dad's cool like that :)
