AngieW in Texas
I make this one every night. 2/3 of a banana, frozen some frozen cherries (maybe 8-12) pour in frozen mixed berry medley (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry) to the 3 cup mark pour in orange juice to the 3.5 cup mark This makes enough for a smoothie for me and my 16yo. LizzyBee
I don't measure either. One of my favorite combinations is plain greek yogurt, strawberries, banana, and an orange. My youngest dd is allergic to a lot of fruits, so it's hard to come up with good smoothies for her. Her new favorite is a peach, 1/4 to 1/3 c of milk, and a cup or so of crushed ice. It is like sherbet and she eats it with a spoon.

Jenny in Florida
I use: - a cup of orange juice. - a cup of frozen, unsweetened strawberries. - a banana. - half a scoop each of Spirutein strawberry flavored powder and Soy-free Veg powder. - a little sugar. We found the consistency is best if I use half a banana frozen and half fresh.

ThisIsTheDay
NEVER thought I'd like green smoothies, much less EVER make them. However, even my kids are happy to drink them. Kids are 13 and 17, so :confused::confused:. This morning: Leftover canned pineapple (2 slices, 1/2 c. juice) 1 apple, unpeeled 1/2 bag frozen peaches several handfuls of spinach couple of ice cubes Yellow fruit is visually appealing, turning smoothie bright green. Red or blue fruit makes smoothie look pretty much like puke.
