mamato3
can anyone help me figure out which version to use? what is the standards version, and what's the difference? thanks!!!
CourtneySue
The standards version has the same content as the U.S. Editions, but rearranged to reflect California State math standards. I've heard the standards version is preferable because the Home Instructor's Guides are better.

Standards Edition also has a few more topics that US Edition doesn't have (I think negative numbers was one... there's some others in the 5th-6th grade materials, I think). Also, I think the US Edition textbooks are black and white after grade 3, or something like that? Standards Edition textbooks are color all the way through grade 6. I use Standards and am happy with it.
