kristin0713
I'm organizing a literature class for co-op next year and I need a book on thankfulness to do right after Thanksgiving as kind of a heart preparation for the holiday season. We are mostly doing FIAR titles--all of FIAR vol. one and a few from vol. two--throughout next year. We are doing Cranberry Thanksgiving the week before Thanksgiving. So I don't need this to be specifically about the Thanksgiving holiday, more about the heart focus of thankfulness. Either Christian or secular books are fine. Suggestions? Incognito
For primary aged children, Listen to the Wind is good (you can get other Mortenson books for different age brackets that cover the same story too). For older kids (late elementary?), The Table where Rich People Sit is very well done.

fairy4tmama
I purchased Gratitude Soup last fall for a similar purpose and we love it!

kristin0713
Gratitude Soup looks awesome and I think will lend itself to some great ideas to pull together a craft. Thanks! Other suggestions welcome too :)
