elegantlion Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 We have an HP psc1410 that is only a few years old. It has been working fine, until this morning. Ironically right after I bought a new ink cartridge. It spontaneously started to print the check cartridges page and then turned off by itself. I wasn't printing anything. Now the blasted thing won't turn on. I tried troubleshooting on hp.com, but it was no use. Any experiences like this? Is it a goner? :001_huh: Quote
Blossom'sGirl Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 The power cord for my old HP was very fussy in the back. If you moved it a bit while changing the cartridge it easily came loose and shut the thing off. Hopefully it is something simple like that. Quote

No it wasn't the power cord in the back' date=' it was the other plug, not the one in the wall, the one in the adaptor (is that even the right name?). You win the prize, and I'll wear the humble pie. Here's some flowers as a thank you. Quote
Blossom'sGirl Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I actually wanted mine to die so I could justify replacing it but it won't so I got a new one anyway. I love simple fixes. Quote
