Mystie
Pilgrim's Progress is a pretty foundational cultural book for English & American literature, and so I just wanted to give a plug for the audio version Blackstone audio sells. We're listening to it and it is so much easier to listen to someone who knows how the language flows than to try to read it aloud myself! Audio books to the rescue! I wrote about how we're doing Pilgrim's Progress on my blog last week: http://www.simplyconvivial.com/2012/pilgrims-progress-in-our-homeschool Anyone else have favorite audio books? Anyone use audible? I'm considering it now that audio books are a proven resource in our home.
serendipitous journey
Just saw this ... we're about to begin Pilgrim's Progress (probably this version) -- and Button has loved having My Father's Dragon on audiobook. I'm using audio versions (Weiss, mostly, whom I have grown to be okay with :) ) of mythology in the car; this is pretty popular, esp. with the toddler!
