bettyandbob
Do you have favorite math websites for teaching geometry. I'm trying to compare several. Thanks
3browneyedboys4me
we're not there yet, but I did notice that MUS is offering online courses now. I don't know if that would be at all helpful, but I thought I would share!
wapiti
Do you mean the high school course or more generally? We're not there yet either. AoPS has an on-line class. You might search the high school board about high school courses, or the K-8 board for discussions about geometry for lower grades.
bettyandbob
I am looking at different math sites that offer instruction on various topics. For example, mathisfun , has a geometry section. there isn't audio, but it does make good use of animations to explain concepts like angle types and reflection and rotation. So, I'm not looking at an online course. I am looking at free sites. These cites could be supplementary to a course or stand alone.
MomatHWTK
My DS likes the Pre-Algebra lessons from here: http://www.phschool.com/webcodes10/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.gotoWebCode&wcprefix=auk&wcsuffix=0099 (This is a link to the geometry page, the homework videos are the resource we use.
