Those of you that live in/near or frequent the Denver area.. a question

Can you recommend a good, clean, reasonably priced hotel near (or semi near) the Amtrak station?? I did a search and am getting scared finding HORRIBLE reviews or prices that are way out of our budget. We have to go pick up my inlaws and are planning on staying over night. We have a 6 hour drive and their train gets in at 7am. I don't really want to leave at midnight to pick them up then turn around and drive 6 more hours :001_huh:

I think there is a LaQuinta near that area.

You are talking about the downtown area and that isn't cheap.

 

Could you perhaps drive 15 min or so from the station?

I did priceline and got Hotel Vq for 69.00. It looks nice online. I hope it is a nice one!!

We stayed at the La Quinta last year and walked to the train station on our way out of town. It's decent - clean bathroom, adequate beds, etc. You're not looking at a luxury hotel but it's affordable and close.
