TechWife
I'm looking for some "Living Books" to use for high school health. Videos recommendations would also be appreciated. If this approach has already been discussed, I'd appreciate links to the threads. Thanks. Edited July 12, 2012 by Ann Brown
Twigs
Hmmmm... The Andormeda Strain by Michael Crichton (fiction - about an extraterrestrial microorganism infecting a town, and the scientists who research the disease) Double Helix by James Watson (about the discovery of DNA - so might be a stretch for health) please preread - I don't have children and never read thinking is it a good fit for a child / teenager. Sebastian (a lady)
Flu by Gina Kolata about the 1918 Flu Epidemic and the Swine Flu in the 1970s. There is an auto biography by Arthur Ashe, tennis player who got Aids In the early days of the disease. I just saw mention of the book so I can't speak to content.
