Who would I take my sons to if I suspect that they both are dealing with dysgraphia? My oldest ds has been tested (not for this, but was rx'ed with an auditory processing disorder and ADD.) The testing environment was abysmal though, and I now see that my younger ds is having issues. (Some different, some the same.)

Thank you,

Dana (was DeeFL, but am now in CO)

Oh...I was waiting to see the responses for FLorida...but I see you are not here in fl any longer.

I am trying to do the same with my son now...12.

I had made an appointment for a new psych ed but I realized I think I want to try a different path first. I am going to call the dr. and see if they can get a neurologist to do the testing for LD rather then the school or a psychologist. Maybe that would be better?

Do you want an official "dysgraphia" diagnosis? Then you need to go to a neuropysch. An occupational therapist will work with you to *treat* the dysgraphia (not cure it, but improve things), but can't technically diagnose it.
