Shelly in IL
a very large collection of vintage Boston Terrier figurines? They are a large and varied collection of various materials (ceramic, cast iron, chalkware, porcelain, etc) various sizes - door stops, small figurines, etc. They were collected about 40 years ago and they were old then. Ebay has a ton of stuff like them, but they are not selling. Any idea where I could just sell them as a lot? THanks
djsmom
You could try Craigslist
itsheresomewhere
Try selling the cast iron ones. For the others, craigslist or goodwill. If one of yours has pants and looks creepy, PM me. We need a new gag gift in the family to go with the tea party drinking creepy dogs statues MIL gave SIL.
justasque
Sometimes what doesn't sell as individual items sells as a larger lot, partly because for low-priced items the shipping can be more than a single item is really worth. A consignment shop is another option. That kind of thing may do better in-person rather than online. On the other hand, sometimes the tax break you get from donating is more than you'd get if you went to the hassle of selling, shipping, etc. Is there a lovely little hospital thrift shop nearby? Shelly in IL
they are probably valuable. They are not a child's collection, my parents were good at helping me pick items of value. With this economy, nothing is worth much!
