extendedforecast
Or was it just my imagination? If so, does anyone know if it's in effect?

extendedforecast
Thanks, I thought so. I'm being denied a loan, unless DH co-signs. :glare:
Parrothead
Thanks, I thought so. I'm being denied a loan, unless DH co-signs. :glare: :grouphug: Oh, wow! Since that law came into effect I've gotten 3 credit cards and an account at Dell computers. All on my own without dh's siggy. I've not tried a personal loan though. ETA: I was denied a Shell gas card for some reason.
Joker
Thanks, I thought so. I'm being denied a loan, unless DH co-signs. :glare: Ouch! I haven't run into this problem. In fact, I just took out a new credit card last month in my name only. I actually have more credit than dh and I don't work, but every application I've filled out asks for household income and doesn't ask for employment information. Weird. Kathryn
I remember hearing about it, and didn't think I'd get it when I applied for an Amazon credit card because it asked about personal income, job, and household income. But, I was approved immediately.
extendedforecast
I haven't had any problems with credit cards (Kohl's) either, but this is a car loan. My credit is a better than DH's, so we thought it would be best to get it in my name for the better interest rate.

Parrothead
Did you list homemaker for job? I did on each and every one. Even the one last night. :glare:
