helena
Last year we used Sow and Grow and had a blast. http://www.amazon.com/Sow-Grow-Gardening-Book-Children/dp/1584796731 This year we're using Gardening Wizardry for Kids and maybe Roots, Shoots, Buckets & Boots. http://www.amazon.com/Gardening-Wizardry-Kids-Patricia-Kite/dp/0812083628/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1341564983&sr=1-1&keywords=gardening+wizardry+for+kids http://www.amazon.com/Roots-Shoots-Buckets-Boots-Gardening/dp/0761110569/ref=pd_sim_b_1 Once I'm done with these books I'm out of ideas. :001_smile: So, what else is out there? I don't mind if the books seem to be for younger kids (mine are 10 and 13). I like enchanting ideas (like sunflower houses) and simple instructions. We have a decent amount of gardening space, a brown thumb and lots of enthusiasm. I am curious though, what's out there for teen gardeners? Is there no in between? Is it Roots, Shoots... and straight to adult gardening? Last question, has anyone actually used (maybe even completed) Roots, Shoots, Buckets & Boots? What did you think?
