Pamela in VA
I have a copy of the first edition TWTM, but as dc are moving into Rhetoric level studies, I am wondering if there are significant enough differences between the 1999 and 2009 books to warrant an upgrade. Would love to have explanations of the differences... Thanks

Thanks I can't remember what was in the 1999 edition, but a difference between the 2004 and 2009 edition is that history and Great Books study is separated (in rhetoric stage) in the 2009 ed. G5052
We are not strictly WTM educators, but I bought the 2009 book because I periodically need to find a resource for a particular area or a good book for free reading. There are a lot more options given. I was able to borrow it from a neighboring library system, but we don't go that way as much as we used to, and I ended up buying my own last summer.
