tabrizia
Well the positive of DS now waking up at 6am rather then 8 or 9am is that we are done with his first day of Kindergarten and it isn't even 9:30. We worked on learning to read, lots of math (at his and his sisters request), science and history. It took about an hour and now he has the rest of the day to play. He'll probably play some more math games on the iPad later and we'll read some stories, but we are all done with seat work. It was a good first day of school. Night Elf
Good for you! I miss those cool days. Don't forget that learning opportunities are present all day long. Seat work is only one small part of it. One of the things my kids liked was a science area. You can stock it with experiment stuff and he'll probably be happy to play with the things even when it's not school time.
