Lux Et Veritas Academy
How did you do it- With a ladder? Any suggestions on the pole? Did you use an extension or did you just give up like me and almost hire someone?
Plucky
I have done it twice - hire someone. LOL I use ladders and extension poles. My dh also built a kind of scaffolding on the stairs. If you decide to do it maybe you should rent the scaffolding for a day? It is doable but I always think I'll never do it again.
Laura K (NC)
We hooked the edger up to the telescoping pole and edged (successfully), then we used the roller. It went a lot faster than I thought it would. We've got a split level, so half the stairs go up and half the stairs go down. When we replaced the light fixture over the stairs we used a 6' ladder near the front door and extended 2 2x12's from the steps to the ladder, making a kind of scaffolding. I don't think this is the best way to paint, though... I'd go with a telescoping pole.
Ellie
We hired someone :-) But all she did was use an extension ladder and an extension pole (we didn't hav either; that was our excuse, lol).
Ashleen
My dad uses a scaffold when he does this (he's a mural artist and does a lot of two-story walls).
