Impish
I want popcorn for breakfast. It's gluten free. :D Trying to convince myself that it's probably not the best example to be setting for the kids...esp since I don't consider popcorn worth eating unless it has butter and salt on it. But...is there that big a diff btwn toast w/butter and popcorn for breakfast? :D
thescrappyhomeschooler
I voted for chocolate instead. But do that in secret, because that would REALLY be a bad example! ;) Popcorn, toast, cereal- it's all the same thing, really.
KS_
I say go for it. My grandma and her brothers used to eat popcorn and milk - I'm not sure it was for breakfast, but maybe as a snack. But there's not much difference between that and cereal.
Mandylubug
I say forget the popcorn and go straight for the chocolate :) I would eat it if I really had to have it. It can't be any worse than boxed cereals
Moxie
Alton Brown had that on his show once. He said popcorn was one of the first breakfast cereals. He ate his with cream, I think. Go for it!

Tap
Other....different than toast....but if I wanted it, I would eat it. I don't think it really matters what time of day it is. If it is a food you would normally eat, and it isn't ALL you are going to eat for the entire day, go for it.
Snickerdoodle
It's too carb heavy for breakfast, unless you plan on topping it with a fried egg.
swellmomma
As a special 1 time silly breakfast? go for it. Plan for a boiled egg or something mid-morning because you will be starved again by then. I don't usually eat breakfast foods, I don't really like them. This morning for breakfast I am eating left over ribs. If I can eat ribs for breaky you can eat popcorn. twoxcell
Popcorn is a whole grain so go for it. Just avoid microwave popcorn if you can. We bought a hot air popcorn popper and it is so good fresh.;)
