I looked everywhere (or so I thought) for two weeks, and finally gave up and bought a new one. Then one day, when I went to get a loaf of bread out of the freezer, there it was, under the bread. Did I mention that there was a pen in it? And she put the alarm clock in the fridge and was half way up the stairs on her way to bed with the milk jug in her hand before she realised her mistake.
