Dd and dh are doing a Great Books/Worldview course together (cc)

Dd loves to discuss books with dh because he is a wonderful at analyzing literature. I think it's something genetic in both of them because I have my masters in English lit. and I can't analyze books like they can. Anway, dd is on dh's case because he is not reading Perelandra fast enough so they can talk about it. :lol: This should be an interesting year. Has anyone here used it? I gave dh and dd some options and this is the one they chose because they wanted the freedom to read and talk and didn't want a workbook or study guide approach.

I don't know about the lit guide, but I think this is GREAT that your dh and dd are doing this together! What a great learning experience that is, and what a special time for her and your dh! Your dd will alwyas remember these times, so kudos to you and dh!

My dd and dh discuss writing together. He's a mailman and I have a degree in education but he is a much better teacher than I am. He gets all kinds of creative ideas - I need a teacher's manual.;)
