megawords questions

I got the first 3 volumes and they look like what dd needs. I think I've gone over the teacher's manual closely and they talk about using flashcards at the beginning of unit of study. However, I can't find what the flashcards are supposed to look like. Do we just make flashcards of all the words on the list? Are we supposed to make flashcard of wordparts to go with the syllabication? Am I making this too hard?

 

Part of me thinks dd won't need the flashcards, but we want to do 100% and know we tried our best at helping her spell better this year.

I have purchased Megawords this year and have not had a chance to look at it. So, I am also interested in what you guys have to say about this.

We've used Megawords 1-2-3-4-5. I've never used flash cards (I personally hate them but have used them here and there). I don't remember there being any suggestion for flashcards in Megawords, but maybe I blocked it from my mind. :D

Never used any flash cards here either. My dd is on book 3 now. She just does the pages in the workbook.

I wouldn't have used them anyway. These are awesome books - I wished I had found them much earlier.
