Soror
I've had a plant come up before I planted my garden, in a new plot. It looked like a cucumber/squash plant so I left it. Now it is quite large, it is about the size of my eggplant and the leaves and blooms are similar in color (purplish). They are purplish and the vegetables coming from the fruit are shaped kind of like a cross between chili peppers and green beans, green and fuzzy. I talk to the trees
Okra, perhaps? But I have never grown it, and don't know what the flowers look like.
Soror
Ya, it does kind of look like okra. The blooms I see online don't look like that though. These are purple and more of a half flower, very pretty. Most of the pics online don't look anything like the plant but it seems there are some that do. I don't know where they would have come from I don't buy okra and haven't planted it before.
Ruby Rose
Okra would be my guess. Or could be a type of eggplant, even ornamental. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aubergine
