ELITEANDLOVINGIT
I am wondering about a program which combines Art, History and Geography. It would seem most certainly there is already one out there... My questions are... 1) The programs name 2) What your student liked or disliked? 3) What you liked or disliked? :grouphug:
Aurelia
Mapping the World with Art sounds like something you might be interested in. I haven't used it, but I've heard almost universally good reviews. The website says it's geared for ages 11-16.
purduemeche
We use Tapestry of Grace, which has those subjects and more. The downside is a significant investment in planning, but the experiences in immersion learning are second-to-none.
Tammi K
I posted a response to a similar question in another thread. We use mapping the World. You can find samples of it on You Tube and you can see a table of contents on Ellen McHenry's website. We've enjoyed it. It's not for really little ones without a lot of encouragement but my son dod some of the lessons starting when he was in 3rd grade.
