Joani Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 I'm pretty sure my daughter only reads historical fiction. :glare: Some favorites are: The Guests of War Trilogy, by Kit Pearson Milkweed, Jerry Spinelli After the War Daniel's Story, both by Carol Matas Underground to Canada, by Barbara Smucker North by Night Stealing South, both by Katherine Ayres Forgotten Fire, by Adam Bagdasarian (also my DS13's favorite, but I'd save it for 12/13) There's also a series called Bloody Jack, by LA Meyer, that she loves, but might not be appropriate for a 10 year old.
