Holly IN
I want to beef up his writing. He is struggling putting stuff on paper. He took several writing courses through the homeschool group. He copywrites and dictates really well but bombed out on outlining. Right now I have IEW to use with him. I also have Writing Aids to use with him for TOG. That is it! Is this sufficient enough to give him a well rounded writing education?? Off to review the WTM book to plan my year!! Holly
Kathleen in VA
I recommend the book, The Lively Art of Writing by Lucile Payne. A very practical book, easy to use and easy to understand.
LisaNY
I recommend the book, The Lively Art of Writing by Lucile Payne. A very practical book, easy to use and easy to understand. I just bought this book. I plan to read it over the summer. I like how it has assignments and questions at the end of each chapter.
Chris in VA
Another vote for Lively Art of Writing--we used it with Write@Home's Essay workshop. If you correctly implement IEW, you should have no problem with writing at your house! (And if it's a good match, of course!)
HollyinNNV
I think that IEW is a great program! If you already have it, that is what I would suggest using. Holly
