About green squares and how they add up

Recommended Posts

I don't think I know the "thresholds" for how people become increasingly squared. How do you go from...?

1-2 squares

2-3 squares

3-4 squares

4-5 squares

etc.

Is it some combination of number of posts and number of rep points? Do we know how many of either merits more squares? I'm wondering how long it would take any of us to get as many squares as Admin. Always good to have a goal, right? ;)

Each 100 points of rep given to you earns you another square.

So, 100 rep points, 2 squares, since you start off with a freebie one.

200 rep points, 3 squares.

Now, 3 squares are worth 3 points when you rep someone.

BUT, every 1000 posts you make earns you another point in value.

So, for instance, I have three squares, so that is worth three points.

I also have over 2,000 posts, so that is worth an additional two points.

Therefore, I am worth a total of 5 rep points when I rep someone.

The speed at which you become more valuable is only limited by how often you get repped and how much you post. It is becoming easier and easier to get more squares now because so many people are worth 3-7 points each. So one person can potentially bump you up quite a bit.
