Homemaker
Has this happened to anyone's kid? We were out somewhere today (hot day) and my son's nose started pouring blood. He has had a cold or something the past few days. My sister was a frequent nosebleeder when she was a child so I know it is probably nothing, but has it happened to anyone else's kid on here? besroma
This happens to a few of my children. This thread might be helpful: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=398483&highlight=nosebleed
sgo95
I've had it happen to me as an adult. I was visiting a desert climate, caught a miserable cold, and started having a recurring nose bleed. It got to be ridiculous--big nose bleeds several times a day--and I had to go to the doctor to get it cauterized. :grouphug: Hope your DS gets better soon. Mommyof4ks
That happened to my youngest a few times over the course of a year, and then it just stopped. I have no idea why it started or why it stopped, but I am glad he is ok now.
Homemaker
Thanks for the responses. I know it isn't a huge deal, but it isn't fun to turn around around and see you son have blood pouring (it probably wasn't a huge amount, but looked it at the time) out of him. redsquirrel
Some people are just more prone than others. I get then quite often and so does my younger son. He sometimes gets them in the night and wakes up covered in blood. Can you imagine what it is like to wake up to your child, standing over you, his face COVERED in blood and it dripping down his chest and arms. It runs into his ears and his hair and drips out! You will jump out of bed very quickly when that happens!
