KristenR
What do you call those rubber soled shoes that can get wet? Not necessarily pool shoes that you were at the beach-- more durable ones with thicker rubber soles so you can hike and cross creeks, walk on rocks, etc.... KnitWit
Keen? Teva? Chaco?
KristenR
Thanks.. I'll look into all of those. I'm hoping to order them through amazon for me and my girls. I have some fun adventuring in the works and think these sorts of shoes would be beneficial.

My family loves hiking and activies in the great outdoors so I'm always on the lookout for new ideas.
KnitWit
Oh! I thought you were trying to remember a particular brand. :) Keen has some closed toe options. Chacos are sandals. I LOVE my Chacos. Chaco straps are one continuous strap that runs under the footbed so no worries about it breaking. Actually...I think Teva has a closed toe option too.
