JadeOrchidSong
We got different answers from the answer key in the back of the book for 13, 14, and 19. For 14, we got 32 while the answer key says 31 and for 19, we got 270. Please let me know if you run into the same problem. I can't figure out why our answers don't match the key. Thanks! nmoira
It helps greatly if you include the problems. :001_smile:
Snickerdoodle
For number 14, draw it (which is just an exercise in "don't be fooled"). It comes up again somewhere else. ie. a piece of cardboard is 47cm long and 28 cm wide. How many rectangles 8cm long and 5cm wide can be cut from it. The answer in my CWP book for # 19 says: 270 cm2 What does yours say? (I did not work any problems, so YMMV ;) ) Edited June 14, 2012 by Snickerdoodle eta: typo

Thanks for clearing it up for me. Thanks for the drawing, too. I am so glad you could help me.
