PentecostalMom
About my ds who cannot decide what he wants to do. In a little more than a week, our family will be moving from Georgia to Mississippi to work with a children's home our church runs. We have told ds repeatedly for two months that we will not be able to support him any longer. He had to begin paying his own bills on June 1st. We will keep him on our cell plan & auto insurance, but he contributes. Anyway, he took school off for summer and found a full-time job as a porter at a car dealership. He was so excited when he called to tell me he got the job!! I am excited and relieved! He has been working there for a week or so and last night he "tweeted" the following: Full time job = no free time and going to bed early. Ah, the life of an adult. What I'd do to be 12 again. I still miss him terribly and probably won't see him until October. Hard to let go!
creekland
Full time job = no free time and going to bed early. Ah, the life of an adult. What I'd do to be 12 again. Too soon old. Too late smart. (Who said this originally, anyway?) I wish there were a way to convey this reality to our youngsters.
