elizabeth
http://hrsbstaff.ednet.ns.ca/mshaw/Revised_Analysis_Sheets%5B.pdf I thought I had read too many posts regarding literary analysis programs with much handwringing and angst. I am sharing what is the backbone for discussing any work of fiction in my little corner of the world. I love these women for putting together this exhaustive list of discussion questions. Chat through this with your student and the book report and/or essay on the work should be a breeze. I hope the link works. I found this while doing my own handwringing and excessive searching for a one stop source for discussing literature/poetry/plays absent concern with form. This subject seems to engender high anxiety ,even moreso if one has a college degree indicating proficiency in the area.... Hope this helps someone here-I get so much from all of you and hope I can do the same.

I think I might have had a clue what all those English teachers were saying! Seriously, high school lit has been stressing me out and this has brought some light to this tunnel! Kareni
... Now to figure out how to give rep... To give rep, click on the scales that are in the upper right center of the post you're impressed with. You'll be given a small box in which you can write a comment. Don't forget to sign it or the person will not know who gave the positive feedback. Regards, Kareni

Farmgirl70
Thanks! I've maxed my budget and feel a little insecure about high school literary discussions! I'm printing these out and keeping them handy!
Michelle in MO
This is just what I've been looking for! thanks! Now to figure out how to give rep... More rep. from this end, too! NRG, in order to give rep., you click on the scales at the upper-right-hand corner of your post. Hit "I approve of this comment" and perhaps type in a comment of your own and sign your name. I think as a Hive Mind Larvae your rep. shows up as a little gray square under someone's User Control Panel. I think when you get to the next stage (is it 40 or 50 posts) then it starts "counting" towards someone's rep. Still, I gave them away when I was a Larvae without knowing about that!
