Strengthen My Hands
Does the Hive know if you can use the Exhibit Hall at the HEAV convention without attending the convention? TIA
waa510
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you asking if you can not pay for a pass, and sneak in to see the exhibitors, or do you want to know if you can just see the exhibitors and skip the talks/ lectures? I'm thinking the former from what you said, which short- answer, um..no.
Chris in VA
I thought you could do a "shopping only" pass? You do have to pay.
AvasMom
Most conventions offer a vendor hall only ticket, yes. It should say so on their website somewhere.

hsmamainva
Shopping only is $19. http://www.heav.org/registration-2012/ Something nice they're doing this year for the first time (I think!) is that you can take one workshop for free with the shopping only pass. I don't think they've offered that before and I'm thrilled! There was one workshop I was really interested in attending, but I didn't want to pay $60 for the entire convention when I was only going to be there on Friday morning. allymom
Along the same lines, I had seen that there would be free shopping on Saturday from 3-6 (no shopping pass necessary, but also no free workshops and this is after the used curriculum sale ends). Is that still an option? I can't seem to find the information anywhere on the website now that the conference is happening.
ZooRho
Sorry this will be too late to help. but yes they have free shopping from 3-6 on Sat. I do think they have done that ever since I can remember. and they have done a workshop with the shopping pass for a couple of years I think.
