The hard drive failed, and el boyyo had not backed up his files... so aside from hard copies, those files are lost. One of these files was a sonata he has entered into several contests. Although he did not win the contest, one of them gave him valuable information that he could use in editing the piece, should he want to edit it. He has a newer version of Sibelius with Pro Tools... and I'm wondering if he could just scan in the sonata and then make edits that way. I think he basically wants to put it behind him how, but I am just wondering if scanning would work. He could reinput the whole thing, but probably will not do this...
