Twigs
1st - the question: Can anyone name the artist or the painting? The painting is in the blog post mentioned in this thread post#15. The painting is shown in the last photo on that blog post. It is a picture of a barn, a horse, and a boy. I've tried searching the internet for this and cannot find any information. Does anyone know anything about this artist or painting? Thanks!

yucabird
We had this on our wall in my childhood home. Years ago, interior design parties were faddish; knick-knacks, small shelves, pictures, etc. were on offer. I'm pretty sure my mother purchased hers at a party (or maybe my grandmother did). I'm fairly confident it was half of a set...I think the other pic was of a country road scene, and it had warmer tones. I know this isn't much help, but thank you for the memory. :001_smile: The artist or title is on a little metal label on the frame...maybe the blog owner can tell you. Maeintx
It's called Horse and Buggy days by Paul Detlefsen. Yes- this is correct. Dh's grandmother gave us that picture for our first apartment back in 1989. I think the other poster was probably correct- probably something from a home show.
