Book Crazy
I own a book and I was going to recommend it to some one else, but when I went to find it on Amazon, Doctor Who: The Legend Continues What on earth would make it cost so much?
nmoira
No idea, but one sold on eBay for $34.33 a couple weeks ago.
Sharon H in IL
I'd venture a guess that it's because Dr. Who fans are nuts. ;)
Book Crazy
How strange. Why would one sell on ebay way cheaper than it is trying to sell it on Amazon?
Kathleen in VA
It's likely out of print and there were few printed to begin with. In addition, it could be in high demand. I checked http://www.abebooks.com and they only had one copy for $475. It is rare.

nmoira
Why would one sell on ebay way cheaper than it is trying to sell it on Amazon? It's not uncommon to see OOP books listed at ridiculous prices. Whether many actually move at those prices is another question, and that's why I usually check eBay to see what people are actually paying. I waited over two years to get a copy of Bagthorpes Battered (listed at US$150 and up) before I snagged one for 2 pounds. Not one of the expensive copies moved during that time.
