Nissi
We did Foerster's Algebra I but would not like to tackle Foerster's Algebra II without support. I know Math Without Borders offers a CD for Algebra II but I would like more support than what is offered through them. Would Chalkdust Algebra II help ds.2 to be quite independent with his math work. He is the sort of kid who likes to be shown what he ought to do and then go on with it. He doesn't care to puzzle out hard word problems. He is decent in math and would like to finish high school with AP Calculus AB. Would Lial's Intermediate Algebra with Jann in TX followed by Chalkdust Precalculus (Jann does not offer Precalculus) prepare him thoroughly for AP Calculus or should he start with Chalkdust Algebra II and move on to Chalkdust Precalculus. I will not be able to help him much apart from correcting his quizzes from the solutions manual. Thoughts? Thanks for any input.
