iona
Could LLLOTR be stretched over two years...dovetailing with ancients and middle ages great book selections? What potential problems do you see with this?
Sunshine State Sue
I think 8FillTheHeart does that.
BakersDozen
We are stretching this over two years while we cover ancient/middle ages history. For my 14yos this is proving beneficial as he needs to go more slowly and I'd rather he get all he can from this program rather than be forced to fly through it at a pace that frustrates him. 4wildberrys
Exactly what I have been doing with ds! It works out better this way because it lets you savor the program a little longer;)
iona
Would the reading of lotr be stretched over two years this way, or is it just contained to one unit? I am not familiar with how it is layed out. Thanks

I am not familiar with how it is layed out. Thanks Generally, 2-3 chapters are read per week. Then, there is a break between the 6 books to do a unit study or two. You can see lesson plans here. Take a look around the website, there are all sorts of side trips you can find there.
