JKKJ04
What works best for you? Would you just get the audiobook or do you want the text too? I am thinking we will listen/read aloud SOTW as we are moving through our CC history memory work. My thoughts were PDF for my ipad and kindle and then audiobook? What do you think? Mother-Duck
We have the audio book and quite enjoy it. It is very well done and gives me a short little -much appreciated break- while the kids listen. I find I don't really use the book much and in hind sight, could have done fine without the book. Dolphin
we have the text as a book and the activity guide as a PDF. I just print off the activities that we are going to do.
JKKJ04
I am thinking me might look into the activity book when she is a bit older. I am also wondering if just the audio would be the way to go for now.
eschuetter
We listened to the audio over lunch and while coloring/painting the pictures from the activity book. Jim Weiss does a great job reading as always.
sagira
I'm getting the hardback and the audio. I think they're both worth it.
Mandylubug
Welp, I have the text and AG in paperback... and use them both daily but I also enjoy the pdf student pages to make copies for my crew.
lillehei
We have the paperbook of the AG and text and the audiobook. My 9 yo does better with comprehension if he both sees it and hears it at the same time. We also like the text for review before the test and for pictures/maps. misslissa
We've relegated STW to the car on audio book. It's worked very well for us as a back drop for CC memory work.
Elizabeth in MN
We use the audio book version. It gives me a break, teaches correct pronunciation, and gives my daughter a chance to learn from a man ; )

JKKJ04
Great feedback here! I think in the beginning this will be great, I might add the text or the AG as she gets a bit older!!
crazyforlatin
I bought everything when we started, but the audiobooks have been used the most. But we also only do history via audiobooks since we have been placing an emphasis on other subjects. DD feels very close to the narrator since we have been listening to him for a couple of years.
