deltagal 14
My 13 yo son is making progress in his Math...at last. We are using Singapore and have finally made it to 4B. I think we'll be fine through 5B, but then what? I anticipate he'll finish up 5B this summer and I'm at a loss as to where to go from here. It just takes him a lot of time to understand concepts. And, yes, he is college bound.
SilverMoon 4,813
I'd try Lial's Basic College Math (BCM). It's a solid review of all the arithmetic you'll need to begin algebra 1. Since it was written for a remedial college student the explanations are very clear, there's plenty of practice, and it isn't babyish in the slightest. If you go for last edition instead of the newest, you can generally get the student text and the solution book for less than $20 on Amazon.
