Christians - need book rec for non-Christian

Recommended Posts

Not sure how to explain...I would like a book recommendation that explains in simple language why Christians believe what they believe. I know it is probably a complicated topic and there are lots of denominations, but if there was just one or two books you could give to a non-Christian to convert them, which would it be? Please don't say the Bible.

Thanks.

Since a faith is a life not words on a page (nor is it reason based but experienced based), I'd invite them to church. Although the converting business is up to God (I wouldn't invite them with the eye on converting them, but if they were interested in meeting God, I'd invite them to where He is). You'll get a variety of replies!

ETA- if you absolutely need a book, this is one of my favorites for introducing the orthodox faith to people. HTH!
