mom31257 Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 I was sad to read that Dr. Denmark passed away. Here is an article. I read some about her life and found her diet interesting. She drank a cup of hot water every morning with an egg and usually a banana. She didn't eat between meals (she said meals should be about 5.5 hours apart) and the other meals were usually a protein and a couple of vegetables and sometimes a fruit. I guess low carb is a good way to go if you want to live to be 114. I didn't find why she drank a cup of hot water. Does anyone know the benefit of that? No idea if that's true. many, many nutritionists and doctors recommend warm water with lemon first thing in the morning for cleansing.
