Joanne
When did buying otc allergy meds become a....hassle? In any case, they allowed me to purchased one box of Allegra "D". That should last me 2 weeks, at which point I can buy another *one* box. Is there anything I can take in conjunction or simultaneously? Pippen
Allegra-D is my allergy drug of choice. ;) My doctor writes a script so I can buy a month's supply.
Tap
You may want to ask the doctor to write you a prescription for the med. In our state, Washington, you can only buy a 2 week supply unless you have a prescription, and then you can buy as much as the doctor writes for. We don't charge extra for the prescription. I usually suggest to people that they buy the 12 hour pseudophedrine and then add in the antihistamine separately. You can buy large bottles of generic Allegra, Claritin or Zyrtec at Costco for fairly cheap. That way you can control when you take the decongestant and you can control if you need to switch around the antihistamine a bit.
