AngieW in Texas
http://www.hippocampus.org/History%20%26%20Government I thought the US history course looked really good. My youngest is dyslexic. She can read at and even above grade level, but when it isn't something that she is really interested in (which usually means a dystopia), she can't absorb it from reading it herself. For her to really get the content, she has to either listen to it on tape or have me read it to her. I think the US history course looks pretty solid and could work without a supplemental textbook. Have any of y'all used it that way?
