MamaSheep
I finally got this book from the library and have started reading it. I'm only a few chapters in, but I'm loving how she explains things. I'm finding it quite enlightening so far.
MamaSheep
Sounds like a book I need. You know, I didn't think I did need it, but I'm finding it very validating.

Three related items of interest: ■ "The Power of Introverts: A Manifesto for Quiet Brilliance" (Scientific American, January 24) ■ "Time for introverts to get some appreciation" (USA Today, January 23) ■ A link to Susan Cain's TED Talk, for those of you using devices and/or apps that don't display the embedded video in this entry. tristangrace
Hey! I'd never heard of Susan Cain or her book before today, but a friend just posted her TED talk on his blog, and I enjoyed listening. I also found it to be unexpectedly validating.

Alenee
My priest suggested this and I'll tell you, it was a breath of fresh air hearing a Christian say that it's okay to be an introvert and that shyness does not necessarily equal rudeness. I've been extremely put off with the Christian books and people who equate shyness with poor behavior.
