A home for their hearts
Any suggestions? :001_smile:
Birkenkathy
I like Kay Arthur's books using the inductive method. My dd has been able to do them independently starting at 11 or 12 yo. I like them because she doesn't tell you what to believe, but leads you through a study where you draw your own conclusions. It's all Bible, not like those devo books where it is a whole page of someone's story with one scripture thrown in at the end. I also use her adult books for my Bible studies sometimes. Kathy I was looking at the one's from Kay Arthur but I was wondering if these are aimed more at early elementary ages?
tntgoodwin
I did some Kay Arthur Precepts studies in high school, and my mom and her teacher friends still do them. I believe they have them for all ages. Do you have any more specifics on what you are looking for? Here is one suggestion: http://www.amazon.com/Bible-Doctrine-Wayne-Grudem/dp/0310222338
sunriseiz
This may be not what you are looking for at all, but it's fun and biblically sound...geared toward tweens. http://store.theladsband.com/ Scroll down and you'll see it.
A home for their hearts
I'm looking for something that is fun, engaging, easy, doable. I don't want a devotional, I want something that teaches that bible. :001_smile: Thanks!
Birdwinglips
Dannah Gresh has some. I have one (out of print found on Amazon). Some are mom/daughter devos, some are 'date' ideas for mom/daughter, some on purity, modesty, etc. Edited March 11, 2012 by Birdwinglips
