Kirch
I have decided that paying the $10 - $15 to take ds 1 to get his hair cut instead of doing it myself will be a worthwhile investment in our relationship and my sanity.:banghead:

Jennifer in MI
I have three boys. I cut the hair of two of them. 'Nuff said!
Mommyof4ks
:iagree: It is so worth the money for little boy hair cuts.
AnaShoo
I clean up my seven year old's hair in between cuts (I do not know what to do with his unruly top hair!), but my four year old is so miserable to deal with. I'd much rather hold him down and let someone used to dealing with screamers cut his mop. Totally worth the money!
cathmom
I came to this conclusion a while ago. I consider it money well spent, saving my sanity! Plus dh told me that he still remembers his mom cutting his hair and how much he hated it. That clinched it for me.
Maverick_Mom
My son recently asked -- nay, BEGGED -- me not to cut his hair anymore. ;) I had started dreading it, anyway. So now I let someone else do it. Everybody's happy. :001_smile:

He doesn't always do well with new situations, though--I'm pretty sure our first trip will be high anxiety and probably some drama, which is one reason I've just been doing it myself. But we'll have to figure it out!
