Natalieclare
My niece is getting married this July and all 3 of my girls are going to be in her wedding. She wants my girls to just pick out a dress that they like, doesn't have to be the same one. The older girls are supposed to wear something grey and breezy and summery, the younger one is supposed to wear something yellow. I think I won't have much trouble finding something for Ava, but I think it will be a bit harder for the older girls. So: *grey *not a maxi *not a mini *cotton but not jersey Please, savvy shoppers, work some magic for me!
Natalieclare
Here's one that reminds me of my niece, but I have no idea whether or not she likes it yet or thinks it is suitable for her wedding. http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-580-san-gabriel.aspx Her wedding is outdoors, in a little copse on her property. She is a pretty laid-back person.

Cindyg
Do you want to go to the prom with me? You wear one; I'll wear the other.
AK_Mom4
I Love that Light Purple Dress!!!!! But for your teen girls, maybe something more like this? It looks a little short, but maybe the model is very tall.... http://www.zappos.com/product/7912157/color/53261 Or this is a little more expensive, but super-classy and could be worn again for interviews/nice restaurants.... http://www.zappos.com/joan-vass-check-panel-dress-grey-flannel
Natalieclare
Do you want to go to the prom with me? You wear one; I'll wear the other. Those are sooooo not my colors. In fact, I have chromophobia. I pretty much wear black and grey...and sometimes orange. But we weren't talking about me. We're talking about me girlies. Stay on point, Cindy!!!! Annie G
David's Bridal has a nice selection and you can search by color. I saw some pretty ones there for well under $100.
Belacqua
This one from Mod Cloth is quite pretty. They have lots of really unusual dresses (some a bit too unusual for my tastes, but some very nice).
Pink Fairy
I love, love, love modcloth dresses! They have lots of grey too. http://www.modcloth.com/shop/longer-length-dresses
KristenR
I got some awesome dresses from MyGirlDress.com before. Their custom service was great too when I had questions. I feel I got a lot of bang for my buck. Fancy and pretty but not overly expensive.
milovany
Which niece??? The one that lives near me? Wowzers! If they happen upon a pattern they like, Hanne would be happy to make their dresses. :-) Edited March 9, 2012 by milovaný

It looks fun to wear for a special event, esp. one on a hot July afternoon over here. Edited March 9, 2012 by milovaný

Natalieclare
Can anyone find this dress on the left? We love it! I hate it when you finally find something that seems perfect but is perfectly unattainable. AGH!

I think she just wants to stay away from satin, tafetta, and other fabrics on the heavy side. I think the chiffon fits the breezy criteria. I can't wait to show those to Grace and Soph.
